At the Annual Director Meeting of the International Rubber Research and Development Board (IRRDB) hosted by the Rubber Research Institute of India at Kottayan, Kerala, India on the 11th November 2005, a proposal was put forward and unanimously approved by its 16 member countries for IRRDB to produce and publish a Global Rubber Industry Book.
The result is the Portrait of the Global Rubber Industry coffee-table book, which is a set of two copies comprising a Main Book and an Industry Supplement housed in a box casing.
