Introduction
The Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB), through its two research arms, the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia and the Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre has contributed enormously to the development of the natural rubber industry worldwide.
From natural rubber cultivation and raw rubber processing to product expansion and improvements to manufacturing practices, the research activities have been a ceaseless, unending journey over the years.
The book highlights the various scientific and technological achievements through the MRB's R&D efforts since the 1980s, and which are particularly pertinent for the present times.
