About the Book
The University of Malaya - The Calling of Pantai Valley coffee-table book is a story of the University of Malaya (UM) community at work and at play. The University of Malaya Alumni Society took up this trust to inform the world at large about the community of its alma mater which has been faithfully fulfilling its mission of "Producing Leaders Since 1905". It is a journey of discovering the world of the university community, from its origins to the present day. It portrays and shares with its readers selective, hopefully delightful, glimpses of this journey.
